Hope and Glory: An admiring glance back at British family life throughout the first years of WW2 as seen through the eyes of a youthful boy to whom everything is an incredible venture. Cast includes Sarah Miles, David Hayman, Derrick O'Connor, Susan Wooldridge, Sammi Davis, Ian Bannen, Sebastian Rice-Edwards, Jean-Marc Barr, and Annie Leon. (113 minutes, 1987)

Sugar Cane Alley: A beautifully made, heartfelt drama in regards to an 11-year-old boy and his all sacrificing nana, getting by in a Martinique shantytown throughout the 1930s. The film is a humanist drama of the highest request. Cast includes Precious Legitimus, Garry Cadenat, Routa Seck, Joby Bernabe, and Francisco Charles. (107 minutes, 1984)

The Pawnbroker: This is a vital, preoccupying film. Steiger is phenomenal as Saul Nazerman, a Jewish pawnbroker in Harlem who lives in a protected environment with haunting memories of Nazi jail camps. Cast includes Rod Steiger, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Brock Peters, Jaime Sanchez, Thelma Oliver, Juano Hernandez, and Raymond St. Jacques. (116 minutes, 1965)

R.P.M.: The old styled lenient Quinn becomes the head of the university, and then approves a bust of liberals to spare the establishment. Inept Erich Segal script, comparably poor Kramer direction gives the film a certain camp value. Cast includes Anthony Quinn, Ann-Margret, Gary Lockwood, Paul Winfield, Graham Jarvis, and Alan Hewitt. (97 minutes, 1970)

The Protector: A bizarre mix of a kung-fu film and a boy and his pup tale, this inexpensive looking production from Thailand gets sentimental as a youthful martial artist has his cherished elephant stolen by thugs and transported to Australia. Following the poor men there, he hooks up with a Thai born Australian investigator and does battle with wicked gangs and others in an attempt to repossess his little Dumbo. Cast includes Tony Jaa, Petchtai Wongkamlao, Bongkoj Khongmalai, Nathan Jones, Johnny Nguyen, Xing Jing, and Damian De Montemas. (81 minutes, 2005)

A Life of Her Own: Turner is at the hub of 3-way romance leading to heartbreak for all. Dvorak wraps it up with her master depiction of an aging model. Cast includes Lana Turner, Ray MillaItd, Tom Ewell, Louis Calhern, Ann Dvornk, Margaret Phillips, Jean Hagen, Barry Sullivan, and Phyllis Kirk. (108 minutes, 1950)

Gun the Man Down: Injured outlaw avows retribution on cohorts who left him in the middle of a stickup gone badly. Cast includes James Arness, Angie Dickinson, Robert Wilkes, and Emile Meyer. (78 minutes, 1956)

The Education of Sonny Carson: A fascinating if overemotional drama of a disobedient black youth in Brooklyn of the '50s and '60s. Based on Carson's autobiography, the film takes on extra meaning with consideration to his notoriety on the N.Y.C scene. Cast includes Ronny Familyton, Don Gordon, Joyce Stroller, and Paul Benjamin. (105 minutes, 1974)

The Jackpot: An old style, little comedy, uplifted by megastars. Stewart is the winner of a radio competition although he couldn?t pay the taxes on the winnings. Cast includes James Stewart, Barbara Hale, James Gleason, Fred Clark, and Natalie Wood. (87 minutes, 1960)

I hope you enjoyed the reviews. As we said before, search with "Buy And Download Movies Online", or "Movie Download Services" to find good information on downloading. If those fail you try "Download Films Online".
