This short guide covers a great selection of flying experiences such as Hot Air Balloon Rides, Flying Lessons in a Plane or Helicopter, Aerobatic Flights, Microlighting, Skydiving, Hang Gliding, and Sightseeing Flights including Helicopter Flights over London and many more These Flying Experiences are ideal as Birthday Gifts, Xmas Gifts or any other Gifts for special occasions.

Tandem Skydiving. It's like parachuting without all the training. After a short safety briefing, you would normally fly to an exhilarating 10-12,000 feet and leap into a 5,000 feet free fall strapped to your tandem parachute instructor who will control the whole descent, including the parachute opening and the landing. All the thrill without all the drill. These experiences take a part day only and start with a safety briefing session and then a jump from approx 10-12,000 feet with a fully qualified instructor using a dual-control tandem parachute.

Paragliding. Para gliding is about as close you can get to flying without actually being in an aircraft. Hanging in a harness with nothing but your wing and the open skies you'll be soon be soaring above the hills and circling in the thermals up to cloud base. Then you'll find out why birds sing so much!

Aerobatic Flying. Nerves of steel and a stomach of solid rock? Then aerobatic flying is for you. The experience starts with your feet firmly on the ground during a comprehensive briefing. You'll chat through any specific requirements with your instructor so that the flight can be tailored to what you want (and how brave you're feeling). Then climb aboard your plane, either a British Slingsby Firefly, Chipmunk or modern light aircraft such as a Cessna. Once airborne, your expert instructor will show you what it can do - so hang on tight for a breathtaking full aerobatic sequence including rolls, loops and stall turns. Then if you want to have a go (and we're pretty sure that you will) your instructor will hand over the controls and you can experience the thrill of flying a plane.

Helicopter Rides. For 10 minutes nothing else comes close to touching the magic of vertical flight from the moment you lift into the air to the second the helicopter settles gracefully back on the ground. You will normally be welcomed and briefed by a specialist and given the opportunity to see and hear the modern helicopter at close quarters. Then it's your turn climbing gracefully to over 1,000 feet and accelerating to over 120 miles an hour, you will interact with the pilot via the headset, swooping over the landscape and then settling gently back on the ground.

Microlighting. Escape from the boredom of life and conventional flying - experience microlighting! Upon arrival you will normally be briefed on the principles of microlight flying. From there you will be taken to the microlight for a general familiarisation of the aircraft and run-through of the controls. After this it's time to zoom from the airfield into the sky for the 30 minute flight of a lifetime! Once in the air you will have the chance to take controls of the aircraft and so get the thrill of actually piloting a microlight.

Hot Air Ballooning. A perfect gift - The ultimate treat - Fly away on a private balloon flight for two.The two of you can share simply the best time in your own specially chartered hot air balloon flight piloted by a top-flight professional pilot. Nothing quite compares to the serenity of ballooning. Enjoy flying over the most picturesque areas of the United Kingdom. There is no other way to experience such tranquillity and excitement at the same time.

Indoor Skydiving. Imagine a wind tunnel that could be used for testing the aerodynamics of an F1 racing car, turn it upright, jump onto the airflow and you are skydiving. It's a proven concept operating in several countries to the benefit of the skydiving community and anyone else who wishes to taste the thrill of freefall in a completely safe environment. After check-in there's a short class with a video brief and instruction, then it's off to collect your flight gear. You and your group will enter the tunnel and take it in turns to fly... Go on - get skydiving...

Flying. Become the captain of an aircraft in just 30 minutes with tuition from a CAA qualified instructor. Upon arrival at the aerodrome you will normally be given a briefing on the principles of light aircraft flying. From there you are taken to the aeroplane for a general familiarisation of the cockpit layout and a rundown of the controls. After this it's up, up and away for a 30 minute flight of a lifetime! If the instructor feels confident that his new student is ready, they will even be able to take the controls and get the thrill.
