Rare Opportunities at the CCAF Craft Show

Prepare yourself for the Cherry Creek Arts Festival (CCAF), a weekly event that combines different forms of arts - visual, culinary, and performing arts. Each year, about 350,000 attend the CCAF over the course of three days. Admission is free, and the event gives patrons the chance to meet and greet various international artists. They will be invited to try out fine dining, view craft exhibits and watch artist demonstrations. They'll also be able to entertain their families with other interactive performing arts events.

Colorado considers CCAF as the signature cultural event in the area; the annual craft show is highly ranked and has received awards. It would be a fine idea to consider joining the show if you are a student of the arts. CCAF has a special event for you, whether you're a visual artist or specializing in a certain type of craft.

The CCAF is non-profit organization, and its mission is to simply support the arts education in Colorado, as well as provide access to a broader array of arts experience. Aside from organizing the festival, CCAF also manages its yearlong art education and outreach mission through other programs that include the Mobile Art Collection, artist in residence programs, and the Student Art Buying Program.

The CCAF traditionally happens during the 4th of July weekend. But, this year, the annual event will be moved and will take from the third to the fifth of the month. The event will begin at 10am and will continue on until 6pm before the festival nights start. There will, unfortunately, be no festival night on the 5th.

The Cherry Creek Arts Festival will take place in the Cherry Creek North District on all six streets that are in between Clayton and Steele. Each year, there are around 230 juried shows for visual artists. If you think you have the mettle for this, then try out your talents and skills and be part of this elite.
