Switzerland is known as one of the most prosperous nations in the Western world. The country is filled with quaintness and a unique quality that keeps UK tourists visiting from year to year. The cities of Zurich and Geneva are ranked as the two places in the world with the highest quality of life.

The country is also synonymous with banking and high quality goods. Switzerland is not part of Europe even though its neighbours are Germany, France and Italy. The country is a base for many important international organisations (Switzerland long being a country that takes a neutral stance on many wars and politics) such as the Red Cross, the United Nations and the World Trade Organisation.

When visiting Zurich or Geneva, take a lovely cruise down their beautiful lakes. You can get a view of the beautiful cities architecture, as you laze in the atmosphere. You may also enjoy paddling old boats on the lakes.
