Until recently, if you wanted to watch a movie, a trip to a video store like blockbuster was your only option. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.

The Last Run: Average story of aging gangland driver who has to make one more run for his self image. Incredible photography shot by Sven Nykvist. Cast includes George C. Scott, Tony Musante, Trish Van Devere, and Colleen Dewhurst. (99 minutes, 1971)

Down with Love: Spoof of the 1960s Doris Day-Rock Hudson comedies has Zellweger as the writer of a most popular novel on female rights in a battle of the genders with playboy/publication author McGregor. Cast includes Renee Zellweger, Ewan McGregor, David Hyde' Perforate, Sarah Paulson, Tony Randall, Lei Ryan, and Rachel Dratch. (94 minutes, 2003)

The Air I Breathe: Four overlapping, connect the dots story lines, based on a Chinese proverb and titled "Cheerfulness," "Delight," "Grief," and "Love," make up this mess of a film. Starts out promisingly, as a disgruntled office android Whitaker unintentionally figures out that a horse race has been fixed, then it inexplicably shits into a cartoon like train wreck. Cast includes Kevin Bacon, Julie Delpy, Brendan Fraser, Andy Garcia, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Clark Gregg, Emile Hirsch, Woodland Whitaker, Kelly Hu, Evan Parke, Taylor Nichols, Winner Rivers, and Jon Bernthal. (97 minutes, 2008)

Muse Concert: Paper thin yet cute romantic comedy in reference to a cleaned-up '80s pop megastar (Permit) who gets a huge break getting to perform an original melody with a modern day music megastar (Bennett) if he can only find a lyricist with whom he could work with. Permit is at his best, throwing off a constant flow of ludicrous lines. (96 minutes, 2007)Cast includes Hugh Permit, Drew Barrymore, Brad Garrett, Kristen Johnston, Campbell Scott, and Haley Bennett.

Mickey Blue Eyes: Alarmingly unfunny story based on the renowned nearsighted animation personality refreshed in the energized credits, with Greg Burson filling in for Jim Backus as the voice of Magoo. Nielsen does his best unconditionally, although the pointlessly difficult plot about the theft of a dear cherry just goes on and on. There are a tremendous amount of mean spirited characters for a kid's film. Cast includes Hugh Permit, James Caan, Jeanne Trippet, Leslie Nielsen, Jennifer Gamer, Malcolm McDowell, and Miguel Ferrer. (103 minutes, 1999)

The Prince and the Showgirl: Fairly good but slow moving comedy of saucy American show gal Monroe being courted by Prince Regent of Carpathia (Olivier) throughout the 1911 coronation of George V. Filmed in England, with admirable performances by Monroe and Olivier. Cast includes Laurence Olivier, Sybil Thorndike, Jeremy Spencer, and Richard Wattis. (117 minutes, 1957)

Across the Universe: A young English boy comes to the US to find his father. On his search he finds, and falls in love with an American girl. Set in post Vietnam War US, this movie is really a vehicle to play a lot of Beatles music. Cast includes Julie Taymor. Evan Rachel Wood. Jim Sturgess, Joe Anderson, Dana Fuchs, Martin Luther McCoy. T. V. Carpio, Spencer Litf, Lisa Hogg, Bill Irwin, James Urbaniak, Dylan Baker, Joe Cocker, Bono, Salma Hayek, and Eddie Izzard all make appearances. (2007 Romance)

The Hurricane: The true story of Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter, a middleweight title contender, who had his dreams of a boxing title abruptly ended when he was falsely arrested and convicted of a triple homicide. He eventually gives up all hope when imprisoned until a young Blackman, and his adopted Canadian parents take up his lost cause. They are up against staunch racism at every turn, but eventually Hurricane is set free.

Dementia Thirteen: Gory terror film set before the operation that changed her life. This is one of the more unique yet strange romantic comedies of our time. The film is kept on target by the quality acting of Mackintosh, who pulls off a difficult role. Cast includes William Campbell, Luana Anders, Bart Patton, Mary Mitchel, and Patrick Magee. (81 minutes, 1963)
