Pristine beaches, diverse culture, beautiful people, an invigorating nightlife and exciting, over-the-top annual celebrations, such as Carnival, bring both gay and straight vacationers to Brazil by the thousands. Brazil, being one of South Americas most popular destinations for gay travel due to its welcoming and accepting atmosphere and large LGBT population, offers a variety of gay travel options that are appealing to both gay men and lesbians and include opportunities for exhilarating nights on the town, as well as relaxing getaways in paradise. Whether your idea of the perfect gay vacation is a week-long trek through Brazilian jungles in search of ancient ruins or lounging in the lap of luxury at an exclusive resort overlooking the beach, Brazil is sure to deliver the international gay travel experience you seek.

Rio de Janeiro is among the most popular gay vacation destinations in Brazil and offers gay beaches, gay and lesbian bars and clubs, drag shows, circuit parties, bathhouses and a vast array of dining, shopping, recreation and cultural activities that attract travelers from around the world. While the establishments and gay culture in Rio de Janeiro are geared more towards gay men, lesbians will find a welcoming atmosphere at most gay establishments and events and can enjoy womens nights at several locations throughout the city, as well as a lesbian club that is open nightly. Of course, Rio is also home to Carnival and world-famous New Years festivities, both of which provide plentiful parties, parades and festivals for gay and lesbian revelers.

While perhaps the most popular, Rio de Janeiro is not the only gay tours destination in Brazil. A number of Brazilian cities host annual gay pride parades and festivals, including Sao Paolo and Belo Horizonte, and most urban areas enjoy a thriving gay culture. For gay vacations that are not centered around gay pride festivals or annual events, gay travel options include all-inclusive luxury eco-gay cruises and tours of historical and cultural landmarks offered by organized tour companies catering specifically to the gay and lesbian community.

Taking part in gay vacations to Brazil is sure to provide the opportunity to partake in exhilarating experiences that you will remember for the rest of your life. To ensure that your Brazilian gay vacation is full of the right kind of excitement, keep in mind that travelers should exercise the same awareness used when traveling throughout the United States. The level of acceptance will vary in different areas of Brazil, just as it does in different areas of the U.S., meaning that awareness and good judgment will help to ensure an enjoyable vacation. Playing it safe also applies to gay travelers with an interest in visiting some of Brazils famous bathhouses. Like the U.S., Brazil is also working hard to stop the spread of HIV and bathhouse visitors should use the necessary precautions to ensure a safe trip.

Working with a professional travel agency with expertise in Brazil gay vacation packages, local attractions, travel seasons and information that is particularly useful for the gay holidays community is the best way to ensure that you will have a fulfilling, enjoyable experience. Whether a luxury beachside retreat, an exciting jungle excursion or a wild week in Rio is more your style, choose a travel agency committed to providing memorable travel experiences to the gay and lesbian community in order to get the most out of your Brazilian vacation.

Check out some movie reviews below. You can find a lot of information on movie downloads sites if you do a good search. You can find good results with by searching "Unlimited Mp3 Downloads", "Movie Downloading Site" and "Download Internet Movies".

Foxes: Foxes is about 4 teenaged gals try dealing with the normal ?not in our town? complications carried by growing up in San Fernando Valley. Adept cast and evidently genuine motives are sabotaged by rough storyline that just isn't gripping enough. Cast includes Jodie Foster, Cherie Currie, Marilyn Kagan, Kandice Stroh, Scott Baio, Sally Kellerman, Randy Quaid, and Lois Smith. (106 minutes,'80)

Ironweed: William Kennedy adjusted his Pulitzer Prize novel in reference to road individuals, set in Albany, N.Y.,'38. Nicholson plays a guy trying to come to terms with the life he turned his back on years ago. Streep is his longtime friend who, like him, can?t stay off the bottle for long. Cast includes Jack Nicholson, Meryl Streep, Carroll Baker, Michael O'Keefe, Diane Venora, Fred Gwynne, Margaret Whitton, Tom Delays, Jake Dengel, Nathan' Aisle, James Gammon, Joe Grifasi, Bethel Leslie, Ted Levine, and Frank Whaley. (144 minutes,'87)

Pajama Party: The fourth beach party film moves inside, changes director and megastar (albeit Frankie Avalon and Don Rickles do have cameos). Kirk plays an alien adolescent who drops in and is understandably confused. Just fair, albeit it's unconditionally fine to see Keaton at work. Cast includes Tommy Kirk, Annette Funicello, Dorothy Lamour, Elsa Lanchester, Harvey Lembeck, Jody McCrea, Buster Keaton, Susan Hart, and Donna Loren. (85 minutes,'84)

The Little Thief: So-so personality picture of the title lass, a disassociated, amoral adolescent floating through life in postwar France. If she comes off as a girl Antoine Doinel, it's since the original tale was co-written by Francois Truffuut, who was allegedly preparing to film this at the time of his demise. Cast includes Charlotte Gainsbourg, Didier Bezace, Simon de la Brosse, Nathalie Cardone, and Raoul Billerey. (104 minutes,'89)

The Fox: Pleasantly created story of lesbians Dennis and Heywood, and what occurs when a third party ( Dullea) gets involved. The movie was filmed in Canada. Cast includes Sandy Dennis, Keir Dullea, Anne Heywood, and Glyn Morris. (110 minutes,'68)

The Fog: A thick haze from the Pacific hangs over a Northwest seaside village, bringing with it murderous and vengeful ghosts. A lame redo of John Carpenter's'80 film modifies the structure but does not improve on the first edition. Cast includes Tom Welling, Maggie Grace, Selma Blair, DeRay Davis, Kenneth Welsh, Adrian Hough, Sara Botsford, and Rade Sherbedgia. (100 minutes, 2005)

Strange Interlude: A talky Eugene O'Neill play becomes a marathon with the only interesting thing are the role of Gable and Shearer. It is about growing old without settling their complications. This is an engrossing film, with Shearer at her brilliant best. Cast includes Norma Shearer, Clark Gable, Might Robson, Maureen O'Sullivan, Robert Youthful, Ralph Morgan, Henry B. Walthall, and Alexander Kirkland. (110 minutes,'32)

Lilo and Stitch: Forlorn Hawaiian gal being brought up by her older sibling finds a doubtful buddy at the dog pound an alien whom she names Sew. In the mean time, people from Stitch?s world have arrived in this to recover the damaging little creature. Gorgeous watercolor surroundings are simply spectacular. Cast includes Voices of Daveigh Pursue, Christopher Michael Sanders, Tia Carrere, Kevin McDonald, Ving Rhames, David Ogden Stiers, Zoe Caldwell, Jason Scott Lee, and Kevin Michael Richardson. (85 minutes, 2002)

Rhapsody in August: Average (by his own estimations) little Kurosawa is a piece in reference to the hurtful memories of a Japanese woman who recollects the bombing of Nagasaki at the end of WW2. Gere, in a hyped up cameo, doesn't appear too out of place as a Japanese American member of the old lady's lengthened family. Cast includes Sachiko Murase, Richard Gere, and Narumi Kayashima. (98 minutes,'91)

Almost any film you can think of can be downloaded from a site online. To learn more about movie download sites search "Online Movies" or "Best Movie Download Sites". Add "Popular Movie Rentals" to the list if the other searches don't work for you.

Cigar Cutter Lighter Combinations

By Dave Sabot

One of the most popular products with cigar smokers are the combination lighter/cutters available on the market. These devices make it very easy for those who like to enjoy their cigars on the go. Especially for those who like to enjoy a puff when they're engaging in outdoors activities, they're very convenient. A cigar lighter with cutter attachments means that one need not worry about losing any of their smoking paraphernalia when they're in the boat, on the links or anywhere else.

Some cigar lighters come with guillotine-style cutters attached. These are among the most popular cigar cutters on the market. They are well-known for providing a clean cut and, the double-bladed models are oftentimes use by those who prefer thick cigars. Most of the cutters attached to lighters will be of the single-blade variety. These cutters are a bit safer than the double-bladed models. This makes them more suitable for being carried about in one's pocket.

The sole exception to this are the double-bladed guillotines. These cutters can be dangerous to carry in one's pocket and, therefore, they are rarer on lighters though such devices do exist. The scissors-type cutters usually fold up into the lighter to protect the blades and the user alike. Like any high-quality cigar implement, these devices need to be cleaned and maintained properly to ensure good results.

Some guillotine cutters have double edges. These are provided on some lighters but it is much more common to see the single-edge models. This is simply a question of safety. Because the lighter is commonly carried in one's pocket, there is always the chance that one may cut themselves when blindly digging for the device. Whichever type of cutter is chosen, one must make certain that they take care of it as they would any other quality smoking implement.

The size of the lighter will play into what type of cutter is attached. For instance, very large gauge cigars require a large gauge cutter and, thus, a large lighter. They are also usually cut with an angled blade which means the guillotine will likely be provided with as much. Some lighters may include other implements such as pipe tools. Whichever one is chosen, they are enormously convenient and useful multi-tool devices.

Unearth Eight Wonderful Motion Picture Critiques For You To Check Out

By Dwain Berry

There are three important ways that you can acquire music off of the unrestricted music download services. The first way to do so, is through without charge means, the second way is through a pay by track agreement, and the third way is by subscribing to the service that you wish to obtain your films from. So find a excellent movie to watch tonight from the list below.

Apollo- - This movie recounts the incredible account of the Apollo- mission to the moon. Approaching the moon, the spacecraft experiences multiple systems failures. With the oxygen supply fading and systems not working, they are trapped over 200,000 miles from Earth. Against impossible odds, the crew of Apollo-, and thousands of people on the ground, all labor diligently on resourceful approaches to bring them safely home. The fact that this crew survived this mission is one of the truly wonderful stories of our time.

2003 was the yaer Lara Croft Tomb Raider, The Cradle of Life hit theaters - Pouting and pillaging in a range of revealing outfits, Jolie returns as the video-game adventuress who teams up with her miserable ex in a race to find Pandora's Box before it falls into the hands of an evil scientist who desires to harness its current to build up biological weapons. Astonishingly clumsy and incessant continuation gives new implication to the word "uninteresting." Cast includes Angelina Jolie, Gerard Butler, Noah Taylor, Christopher Barrie, and Simon Ya.

Slavers - (1978-German) C-I02 Slavers is about the slave trade commerce that went on in Africa all through the'th century. An exceptional cast is saddled with second-rate script. Cast includes Trevor Howard, Ron Ely, Britt Ekland, Jurgen Goslar, Ray Milland, Ken Gampu, and Cameron Mitchell. (102 minutes,'78)

Ace Ventura, Pet Detective - This movie is directed by Tom Shadyac. This is a typically wacky Jim Carey comedy. He is cast as Ace Ventura, a pet detective. The mascot of the Miami Dolphins has been kidnapped, and it is up to Ace Ventura to break the case. Jim Carrey, Courtney Cox. And Sean Young star. (1994 Comedy)

Scream 3 - As the title implies this is the third motion picture in the Scream series. Sydney has run away to Northern California, and is in hiding. The Bourne Ultimatum - In the third film of the succession, Jason Bourne is still being hunted by those who had trained him into the greatest assassin that he is. Having lost his memory when almost being killed, Bourne is retracing his past to try to appreciate who he was, and why everybody wants him dead. All his skills are put to the test, as the C.I.A. is relentless in its effort to have him eliminated. Starring Matt Damon and Julia Stiles.

Tombstone - Lawman Wyatt Earp is set to retire. He has successfully cleaned up the streets of Dodge City, and moves to Tombstone. There he meets up with his brothers, and longtime friend Doc Holiday. Meanwhile a band of outlaws, called The Cowboys, are running wild in the area. This sets up the renowned shoot out at the OK Corral.

In'32 Rich and Strange came out - Kendall and Barry, an unhappily married couple, are provided money and trip around the world; he has an event with a "princess," when she gets to be amorously attached to an explorer. Cast includes Henry Kendall, Joan Barry, Betty Amann, Percy Marmont, and Elsie Randolph.

You have the selection of using one of many free of charge download services. Many of these provide you more than simply music and you can uncover videos and movies at the same time. There were a number of without charge services available a few years ago but many of these have been replaced. One of the most disreputable has since become a compensated download site. Free sites advertised file sharing and required you to download software. That way, when you were searching the databases of other users, your own computer could be searched in return in order to find files they were interested in and uploading them. This made them defenseless to infiltration by viruses and you ran the hazard of downloading an contaminated file. There was also the concern that movies were being traded illicitly.

Understanding San Diego Hotel Rooms And Where They Might Be Found

By Josh Krundle

Coming to appreciate San Diego hotel rooms and San Diego itself is easy when one begins to take a close look at one of the finest cities in the country in terms of geography, attractiveness and richness of locale. For sure, there are large numbers of hotel rooms both in the city and in its outlying environs, though just about everything around San Diego is considered to be the city.

This isn't to say that there aren't several nice hotel rooms and hotels to the west of San Diego, because there are. Just a quick hop over the San Diego Bay Bridge will take one to Coronado. This beautiful town plays host to several luxurious facilities, in addition to being the home of the Navy SEAL training school and commando teams. Certainly, the Pacific coast helps attract many to Coronado.

And that is where a number of fine hotels can be found in and around San Diego; up and down the Pacific coastline. Certainly, many of these hotels will not be cheap just because they are located on some of the most beautiful real estate in the country. It is also because many of these hotels specialize in delivering a quality hotel experience whenever one chooses to stay with them.

Fortunately, for the business traveler, there are a number of very fine franchise hotels scattered all throughout the city, down by the airport and all points east and north. For example, one of the major freeways running in town and to the east features a mile-long stretch of hotels, quality restaurants and shopping opportunities. One could do worse than to stay in this area.

Down in San Diego, by the harbor area, there are also several franchise hotel chains in operation, all with room availability at all times during the year, so prices will vary considerably depending on the time of the year. Summertime, of course, sees a rise in the prices of hotel rooms in and around the city well the fall and winter months -- outside of Christmas -- see drops in prices.

Another fine area that one might consider staying is down near downtown and Balboa Park. This particular area boasts several very nice hotels and bed and breakfast-type facilities that may suit a tourist or sightseer very well. Additionally, the airport also can boast of a number of nice hotels located directly around it, and this might be the perfect solution for the business traveler.

Just outside the city itself, to the north and east, is what locals refer to as North County. A number of hotel chains have set up business there, and the reasons are obvious; the area features beautiful locales and Lake Miramar, a picturesque reservoir with excellent walking and biking paths. Over to the west is the rich enclave of La Jolla, home of a number of luxurious hotels.

Anywhere one decides to find a hotel room in San Diego or in its surrounding environs it's a sure bet that success will ensue. Certainly, there should be no problem in finding excellent hotel facilities ready and available at almost every time of year, with some being independent while others are part of franchise hotels. Some are of extreme luxury, so or member that fact when looking for rooms.

Alaskan Cruises Will Inspire You

By Matthew Shaulis

It's really no wonder that so many people want to go on an Alaskan cruise, with all the wildlife and magnificent scenery to behold in Alaska. Princess cruise line offers Alaskan cruises on nine different Princess cruise ships and several embarkation points on the west coast.

Departing from Seattle on an Alaskan cruise is an experience you are not soon to forget. The Princess cruise line cruise ships are in fact destinations unto themselves, but when you have such a masterpiece of photography that is Alaska looming in front of you, it is very difficult to even realize the beauty of the ship that is carrying you through this wonder of nature. As if the amazing vistas on Princess cruises to Alaska and the inside passage weren't enough, Princess also offers guided tours into the heart of Alaska.

Alaskan cruises offer the best wildlife viewing possible, including bald eagles, whales, sea lions, otters, brown bears, mountain goats and flocks of seabirds. Alaskan cruises do not stop at wildlife thought, there are also several exotic ports of call where you can immerse yourself in the heritage and native culture of Alaska. Princess cruises to Alaska will visit Anchorage, Skagway, and Juneau, just to name a few of the ports where you can immerse yourself in the heritage of Alaska.

Princess cruises of Alaska are offered on several sizes of ships, one of the smaller ships that visit Alaska is the Royal Princess cruise ship departing from Seattle. Although smaller, the Royal Princess cruise ship is a very new ship and offers a very intimate experience on a cruise ship with that "new car smell". The smaller cruise ships offer more intimacy than larger ships, but that intimacy comes at a price.

If it is intimacy you are looking for on your Alaskan cruise, then you should consider the smaller ships in the Princess fleet, but remember that they will be more expensive than the larger Princess cruise ships. The larger the ship, the lower the price, is the general rule because they do not offer the intimacy of a smaller ship. However, price should be the last thought on your mind when it comes to an Alaskan cruise due to the amazing scenery you shall behold on this cruise of a lifetime.

Families that wish to visit Alaska on a cruise should consider the larger Princess cruise ships. The larger ships are more family friendly and there will be more children to play with. Children will need to find others their age to play with when they tire of the scenery. The price of booking a smaller ship should also be a consideration when it comes to a family vacation, and smaller ships have far fewer children on their Alaskan cruises.

Warn Hubs

By Dorian Jepsen

Warn Industries is a northwest based company that has always provided high quality products for the off road marketplace. Their winches have been the gold standard for years. Over the years, as their product line has advanced, they have done a respectable job of keeping their output at an excellent level both for recreational users and industrial applications. The Warn Premium manual hubs are no exception to that.

In contrast to other products in the market, Warn manual hubs are an all-metal construction that includes a thicker internal wave spring to be certain that they stay engaged. For people who take the term "off road" seriously, this is a major attribute to their rig.

Whether it is the Rubicon trail or a more local excursion, failure is not an option when civilization has been left behind. It is with this thought in mind that Warn applies the title premium in their manual hub line. And as expected, they over-build and precision engineer their hubs to a specification that includes tolerances that meet or exceed anything likely to be thrown at them.

The Warn Premium manual hubs utilize a 9/10 turn on the dial to engage or disengage. This removes any doubts that the lock has been set or released. The Premium line differs from the OEM options in a number of ways. Foremost is the use of the ZA27 alloy dial with additional seals. This provides the user a higher level of protection against contaminants. Top all that with an all-metal construction and a lifetime warranty and the end result is a product that offers good value while leaving no questions about its "Premium" label.

Already known for setting numerous industry standards, Warn Industries has lived up to their name again with their premium manual hub line.

The premium hubs are compatible with most domestic and import 4WD vehicles. Some products will even fit models from the fifties and even the less popular vehicles from International Harvester and the like. Whatever the vehicle you want to drive in an off road adventure, the Warn Premium manual hub will give you the performance and dependability that you need.

Discover How Prevent Motion Sickness - Pilot Training

By Bruce Hogan

When you first begin your flying endeavors you may find yourself, feeling nauseated to the point of actually being sick. You probably will put this down to being beginner?s jitters or nervousness. It very well could be but may very well be motion sickness. It is a very common occurrence and you have most often heard the term carsick. This is where every time an individual travels in a car they feel sick to their stomach. It comes in varying degrees and is not just restricted to automobiles. It can be caused from any type of motion most often associated with travel. Perhaps by car, plane or sea an attack of this can strike. It really is not a disease or a virus, it is simply our movement perception becomes mixed up. The inner ear consists of semi circular canals that contain fluid. In motion, this fluid is mixed up and cannot discern between major movement and just a slight movement.

If you are wondering just how appropriate it is to use the word nausea, in Greek it means seasickness. Good indication it has been around a long time. Most often unfortunately, the nausea does not subside on its own. Most often, the sufferer will end up being sick to their stomach. In addition, that is not the end of it; the problem can last during the entire trip. It is easy to see how this would be of grave concern if its occurs during your flying lessons for example.

Manufactured Meds The key is to find something that will work to relieve your motion sickness without making your lethargic. There are various medications that you can buy over the counter to help counteract this. You would simply take them an hour or so before your flight. Again though some of them have the reputation of making you drowsy and you of course must be alert. You must also be aware that CAA may not approve and if they were to find out your were taking medications (with possible drowsiness side effects) you could have your license suspended or even lose it.

Alternative Methods There has been a lot of talk about success with the acupressure wristbands. These are structured so they apply pressure to the Ne Kuan pressure points found in each wrist. The wristband consists of knitted cotton with a plastic stud attached to apply the pressure. There is quite a bit of documentation by way of medical records indicating that this method is quite successful as anti-nausea.

Here are some other tried and true methods you may want to partake in, if you are not finding any solutions.

1. Avoid sudden movements by trying to keep your mode of travel smooth. Also, try to avoid any type of reading. Turbulence is certainly going to be unpleasant.

2. As strange as it may sound attempt to eat a decent meal two hour before flying. It works for some but not for others, it is a try and sees type of treatment. In any event do not over eat. Eat light and sensibly. 3. Try and get as much fresh air as possible.

4. Ginger has long been known for its anti nausea effects. It is often a natural remedy use for morning sickness in expectant women. There are many variations of ginger available and you could try them all to see which works best for you. It is also available in pill form as well, although the natural is purported as being the best. Simply make yourself some ginger tea from fresh ginger root.

5. Do yourself a big favor and abstain from alcohol the night before. A hang over is bad enough, but you don?t want to experience a hang over with motion sickness while you are piloting a plane.

6. looking straight ahead at the horizon may help but as the pilot, you are not able to do this.

Finally, no matter what method you choose, always carry a sick bag with you for those unpreventable moments.

Your Pumpkin Creations

Sunday, November 29, 2009 · 0 comments

By Michelle Lanny

Carving jack o' lanterns is such a quintessential Halloween activity but sometimes you just don't want to deal with all of the mess and potential injury, only to produce an ambiguously expressive work of art that doesn't look as good as the stencil pattern you were copying. The idea behind artificial pumpkins is the same concept behind the artificial Christmas tree, except that they save you the trouble of cleaning up pulp instead of pine needles. They're also much lighter and easier to set up. By choosing to decorate the front of your house with artificial pumpkins instead of real ones, you can help spread the Halloween cheer (or fear) with half the hassle.

Artificial pumpkins are available at most any place you'd be buying Halloween decorations and supplies, and they come in a wide variety-big, small, happy-faced, scary-faced, or with a bat design, and so on according to your preference. The designs are clean-cut and the pumpkin itself is made of durable foam. Many artificial pumpkins even come with their own light bulb so that when you plug in some batteries, they're ready for display. In the dark of the night, they almost look just like the real thing and when Halloween is over, you can store them away to use for countless Halloweens to come.

However, buying pre-designed pumpkins instead of carving them at home might not sit so well with people who like to celebrate the old-fashioned way. For some, carving jack o lanterns is a great way for family and friends to have fun together during the holiday celebration and opting for artificial pumpkins takes away the fun of it.

And while pumpkin pulp is a big mess to deal with, it makes for delicious toasted pumpkin seeds and pumpkin pie. Artificial pumpkin foam isn't as edible. If you use real pumpkins, you might have to throw them out every year but it's not such a waste b/c you can get full use out of the entire squash.

So, natural or artificial pumpkins? Maybe a combination of both, so you can save money but retain DIY appeal? That way you can satisfy those who like to get their hands dirty as well as others who aren't so craft-oriented. Either way, you should decide soon because you have to make your pumpkin purchases quickly before all of the good ones are taken and you're stuck with the leftovers.

Cop Land - Freddy Hanlin is the Sheriff of Garrison New Jersey, a small town not too far from New York City. Freddy always wished to be a New York City cop, but he is slightly hard of hearing, so he never could. When internal investigator Mo Tilden shows up in town to look into probable police corruption, Freddie takes up the cause and begins to help out. Freddie is about to learn that the men he has always idolized might be doing some very awful things.

Lunatics and Lovers - Aristocrat Mastroianni has a imaginary spouse; an organ grinder persuades prostitute Mori to "impersonate" her. While it's not brainless, it's monotonous. Cast includes Marcello Mastroianni, Claudia Mori, Lino Morelli, Flora Carabella, and Adriano Celentano. (93 minutes,'76)

Rent-a-Kid - While the person in charge of an orphanage takes a holiday, father Nielsen takes over with a idea to produce money by renting out kids. Cast includes Leslie Nielsen, Christopher Lloyd, Matt McCoy, Sherry Miller, and Amos Crawley. (89 minutes,'95)

In Enemy Country - Indifferent WW2 story, set in France and England, filmed on a back-lot. Not extremely persuading. Cast includes Tony Franciosa, Anjanette Comer

Onionhead - A chaotic movie with Griffith joining the Coast Guard in pre WW2 and becoming a ships chef. The movie tries to be a comedy, a romance, and a drama at the same time and succeeds at none. Cast includes Andy Griffith, Felicia Farr, Walter Matthau, Erin O'Brien, Joe Mantell, Ray Danton, James Gregory, Joey Bishop, Roscoe Karns, Claude Akins, Peter Brown, and Tige Andrews. Cuba: The Largest Island In The Caribbean

By Jose Mauricio Maurette

Considering holidays in Cuba? Here is one Caribbean island where you would not want to spend all your time on the beach. The people are bright, self-assertive and handsome. The heritage of Cuba is so rich as are the monuments and palaces throughout the country. A Cuban Holiday is without a doubt one to consider.

These are just some of the facts to consider and places and things you should not miss in your holidays to Cuba.

In Varadero hotels and beaches stretch along 20km (12 miles) of white sands on the Hicacos peninsula jutting out from the Atlantic coast of Matanzas province. Cuban holiday-makers have been com ing here since'72, but it was launched as an international re sort with the'29 purchase of land here by US munitions and chemical magnate Eleuthre Irne Du Pont. He built himself a huge sprawling mansion, yacht ing harbour, iguana farm, golf course and airstrip. At the height of the American Depression, other American millionaires fol lowed, including Mafia boss Al Capone from Chicago-his home is now a restaurant named La Casa de Al.

Today, Canadian and European tourists come to Cuba's 35 most popular playground for its super water sports facilities by day and the countless discotecas and the hotels' lavish cabaret floorshows by night.

One in three visitors to Cuba heads straight for its biggest resort, Varadero, some 100 km (60 miles) east of Havana. Many can not tear themselves away from its magnificent beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. At the western end of the island, beyond Havana in the Pinar del Rioprovince, enjoy the quieter, slower pace of rural Cuba in the pretty country side hugging the Cordillera de Guaniguanico mountains. At Vinales, you can go horseback riding to admire the strange mogote mounds and explore the caves.

The Pinar del Rio region is of course most famous for producing the tobacco that goes into the best Havana cigars. The main plantations are concentrated in the triangle formed by the towns of Pinar del RIo itself, San Luis and San Juan y Martinez and, fur ther west, in the fabled Vuelta Abajo area along the Cuyaguateje river. But tobacco accounts only for a small fraction of the region's farmland. Fields of sugar cane blanket the eastern plains until rice paddies take over to fill the marshlands south of Los Palacios. Cattle herds graze the Guaniguanico foothills and citrus or chards, grapefruit and oranges, occupy the western area around Sandino.

The list of places to visit and things to do goes on and on. There are hundreds of beaches, interesting cities and amazing landscapes. Keep reading as much as you can about Cuba so that you can get the most out of your Cuba holidays.

All his skills are put to the test, as the C.I.A. is relentless in its effort to have him eliminated. Starring Matt Damon and Julia Stiles.

If you are a parent who wants to make Christmas more interesting taking a look at how other countries celebrate to get some good ideas. You never know when you may find a tradition that will appeal to you and help your kids learn about the many faces of Christmas. Here are just some of the holiday traditions that you can choose from.

The African Christmas in not the traditional White Christmas that most people in the western world are familiar with. However, it is every bit as festive if not more so than how most European nations celebrate it. In Africa there is a great emphasis on the Church, feasting, dancing, and then presents. The African Christmas starts in reality with the Christmas Day service. In some counties like the Congo it is customary to leave a gift at the altar of the church at the end of the service for the Christ Child. After the service family and neighbors celebrate with a big holiday feast with music and dancing. Gifts are also more practical and while toys can be given, families also use it as an opportunity to get new clothes for children. English speaking countries in Africa also celebrate British Christmas holidays such as Boxing Day.

Brazil is another tropical country that celebrates the holidays in its own unique way. Like many Latin American countries, its holiday traditions are strongly influenced by the Catholic Church to which a majority of this part of the world is adherents. Christmas holidays follows the traditional month long celebration and ends on Jan 6 with Three Kings Day, the traditional Catholic holiday that commemorates when the three Wise Men came to see baby Jesus. In Brazil the build Nativity scenes called Presepios. Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve is also considered to be important and is followed by a great Holiday feast. Santa Claus is called Father Christmas and it is believed that he lives in Greenland not the North Pole.

Austria is a European country with some of the world's oldest holiday traditions. For them Santa Claus who they call Saint Nicholas visits children on Dec 6 accompanied by the devil to take an accounting of their good and bad deeds for the previous year. If they have been good they get sweets and toys. On Christmas Eve things are done differently than in the United States. Instead of Santa Claus coming to deliver presents, the Christ Child comes and not only that, he also brings the Christmas tree! Caroling is also a big part of the season in Austria. Actually some famous carols such as Silent Night originated there.

If you want to make a new tradition for your children you can have them receive a call from Santa Claus. This will be a special and magical moment as your children who still believe in Santa get to talk to the Jolly Old Elf himself. You just order the call online and customize it with the good things that your kids have done and what they wanted for Christmas.

DIY Music Production

Why spend money to do the recording at the professional studio when you can do it at home? Can you produce a top quality work when the professional studio charge you hourly rate? How amazing if you can do the recording at home anytime you like? Let's see how can this happen. It is not as troublesome as you believed.

Today's recording relied heavily on the PC software ; thus, you have to have a decent PC to assist you. If you're not a tech savvy, get the computer support consultant to wire up everything for you properly. The PC should equip with a sound card with midi in / out port.

Music revising software or some call music sequencer is a total must. There are number of such products in the market. For example, Acid and Cinescore from Sony and Sonar home studio from Cakewalk.

For the input device, you can get a midi input device like electronic keyboard or electone if you have the budget. Otherwise, a standard computer keyboard can also do the same thing but it is rather tedious. By the way, for a beginner, I would like to recommend a product call Prodikeys by Creative Technology. Prodikeys is the combination of music keyboard ( with only 37 keys ) and computer keyboard.

it is recommended for you to have a moderately good mic. The standard mic that comes with the computer is not suitable for sound recording purposes. Ask the audio shop to advocate one which is often used for singing purpose. Having mentioned that, you don't need to have a sound proof environment but do your recording in a room which is isolated to keep the unwanted noise to minimum.

Once the infrastructure is up, you will need to familiarize yourself with the music revising software before everything else. Don't start to figure out how to use the software only when you're into the music production. Reason being, learning to use the software can be time intensive. The frustration in the training process may kill your talent at that time.

There are some critical things to notice when you plan for your music arrangement. As further change and enhancement will certainly be carried out by the recording company, don't make your music too sophisticated. It is more critical that you're able to show the uniqueness and the feel of your music. Your music must be able to read and hence accepted by the music producers.

Enjoy your recording.

Are Cheap Holidays A Myth

By Craig Walker

If you are considering going on a summer vacation and are concerned about the cost, then you are not unique. Many holidaymakers especially in the current financial climate are concerned about the future and whether they should reserve a summer holiday in advance.

Lots of people get wind about other holidaymakers who have got spectacular deals by booking quickly or a late deal or getting a holiday cancellation. Do these offers really exist or are they just a selling ploy by the holiday companies.

A cheap vacation to one person may not actually be a bargain to someone else. This is where a lot of the issues tend to originate from. Many people make far more than other individuals do so a bargain to them could be a luxury to someone else.

There are many options to help cut the price of your next summer holiday by looking out for special online discounts. It is not unusual to receive reductions of up to 10% off a vacation just by reserving direct with the holiday firm online.

Another way to cut costs on the overall price of a family vacation is if the holiday company provides you a free kid place. It is not rare for a holiday company to do this specifically in a specific accommodation that they have a lot of rooms in. Usually the hotel is a family hotel that provides kids activities or youngsters clubs to keep the children occupied throughout the day.

Pick a best-selling destination where there is a lot of rivalry between all the holiday companies as this will also help keep the charges down. There is nothing like a bit of competition to make the firms fight for you patronage by providing a discount or a special offer. This can also work in reverse in a location where there is little or no competitor there will be no motivation to offer large discounts.

As with most things you can buy the best option is to always shop around for your summer holiday to make a point you get the best deal possible.

An increasing number of people utilize the cyberspace to make travel bookings. Potential travelers oftentimes make their arrangements through the company or internet site offering the lowest prices. Popular sites such as Hotwire provide at extremely discounted rates on distinct types of travel packages. However, these types of web sites do not disclose certain information such as name of hotel or airline until after the customer has made the non-refundable purchase. Alternative travel agents generally offer similar rates to one another. Still, it is viable to save significantly on your travel, vacation packages and entertainment.

Each day, thousands of tickets & fares become automatically discounted by companies due to undesired or unsold status. Tickets are discounted by travel companies and direct providers for a variety of reasons such as undesired status, unsold status, quitted status, midnight fare recalibration status & more. These tickets are then sold to travel customers for up to 90% off the original price.

Previously, these types of direct discount purchases were mostly just available to authorized travel agents. Still, there are currently cyberspace databases which offer these tickets for purchase to members. Anyone is eligible to join these web sites. Members are offered with a searchable database of discounted flight tickets, vacations, cruises and entertainment packages. Flights & cruises are available to hundreds of destinations world-wide on every major airline & cruise line.

A variety of travel choices are available, including trips to exotic destinations, family holidays, romantic getaways, weekend deals & more. Entertainment packages include tickets to sports events, concerts, theater plays and many more. Upon sign up, users are given access to the database which commonly comprises listings of thousands of available packages. Members book straightaway with special discounts through middlemen, travel discounters, last minute specials and air couriers.

Unlike more popular discount web sites, users are provided with full details before purchase. Buying through unclaimed ticket databases offers clients with great travel savings. Homeowner Loans, Secured Loans And Remortgages Really Can Make Your Life Much More Enjoyable.

By Liz Moir

All three secured homeowner products, that is homeowner loans, remortgages and secured loans have a multitude of uses. They can be used to fund home improvements such as conservatories, porches, home extensions, new kitchens, etc. Secured homeowner loans are a good way to buy vehicles whether it is a car or a motorbike that you prefer.A common use of these three homeowner loan products is for debt consolidation which combines all other oustanding debts into one and saves money each month.

However secured loans , remortgages and homeowner loans can be used for lighter reasons such as to raise money for a holiday in conjunction with attending such things as a broadway show.

By taking out a secured homeowner loan or a remortgage you will not have to economize on the quality of holiday.

Saunter through Central Park hand in hand with your partner and try to rekindle the romance that seemed to be lost in the hustle and bustle of your day to day life in the UK and kick the red and gold Autumn leaves that gather at your feet.

One of the great things about New York is the food that it has to offer at every street corner. There are restaurants from all over the world from China, Korea, Japan, France, Mexico, Turkey, etc. etc. Perhaps in general it is the Italian restaurants that a majority of people prefer.

Stop at Luigi's, go in and feel the cosy and friendly ambience and enjoy your suppli with Neapolitan sauce, followed by a delicious juicy steak a la Fiorentina all washed down with an excellent bottle of Chianti or the increasing popular Italian wine, Pinot Grigio. There is no need to compromise on the cost of your meal as your secured homeowner loan funds are covering the cost and the repayments spread over the next few years are very affordable. Therefore splash out and order a chilled bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne which makes a delicious accompaniment to the zabaglione, followed by the cheese board with the Grana Padana, Peccorino, etc.

After your delicious meal take a stroll through the streets to feel the atmosphere of this city that never sleeps. Look in the windows of the vast array of shops, or if they are still open, which some of them are bound to be, go in and see people from all over the world browsing just like you. After a good meal and an equally good wander it is wonderful to attend a show on Broadway. If your luck is really in you may even see your favourite star in the flesh.

Life really does become more enjoyable with a little help by way of a remortgage, homeowner loan or secured loan.

Christmas Vintage Cards For an Irresistible Antique Look

By Jeniffer Beckersen

The tradition of exchanging holiday greeting cards at Christmas really blossomed in the nineteenth century. The growth of a postal service that could reach all corners of the country - as migration of their customers spread - was one reason. But it was also the result of more and more individuals from all walks of life becoming educated. They wanted to share their good will during the season in a new form, and now it was possible.

That tradition has reached new heights thanks to a whole line of vintage holiday cards. Some designs feature the art of those early years. Others use motifs from the turn of the twentieth century. Still more might take advantage of the great graphics of Hollywood's Golden Era. That's nearly 200 years of history to draw on to create some of the finest vintage cards of today.

The Vintage Whimsy Christmas Photo Card is an excellent example. It adapts the artwork of the late nineteenth century/early twentieth century, featuring delightful scrollwork. The design might have been seen on a mansion gate. Or, it could have been used for furniture of the period. That flexibility reaches a new peak, thanks to the inclusion of three image areas where you place your favorite photos to complete the card.

Vintage motifs can run the gamut from simple to complex, and both may be found on the same card. The Holiday Hoedown Christmas Greeting Card design may sound like it was designed for a southern holiday party. But the nineteenth century scrollwork wouldn't usually be seen there. No matter. Fine art transcends geography and once you add your photo you'll demonstrate that superbly.

Vintage artwork gets still another lovely treatment in the Joyful Strokes Holiday Greeting Card. A simple line drawing evolves to a more complex motif then back again. The end result is a simple word - "JOY" - at the center of a lovely graphic. The emotional center of this design remains the photo you supply. Share your happiness, simple or complex with friends and family with this outstanding design.

Want to see just how intricate and varied the vintage theme can be? Gaze on the Fanciful Flowers Holiday Photo Card design. A floral graphic combines with splashes of symmetric snowflakes in cheerful holiday red and white. You select the photo to occupy the left half. It's easy to create the ideal combination of old and new this way.

The word "vintage" doesn't have to mean "centuries old". The Festive Film Holiday Greeting Card design might just remind viewers of the classic films from Hollywood's golden age. Sprocketed film was used for those movies and the design was often adapted to film posters. You create your own poster by filling three of the frames with your preferred photos. Cast your entire family and then send a party invitation to all their fans.

You might prefer something 100 years old or only 50. Either way, holiday card designers have selected from and adapted over 150 years of graphic design to create unique vintage Christmas cards. What's old is always becoming new again and these artists have re-created designs that capture the best of all traditions.

When it might relatively make up its mind whether it's a joke drama or a light thriller, it's still extremely amusing stuff. Bon Jovi is excellent as the brash, amoral Yankee, and Galiena and Newton are fetching as the females snared in his web. Cast includes Jon Bon Jovi, Anna Galiena, Lambert Wilson, Thandie Newton, Barry Humphries, and David Warner. (100 minutes,'97)

The Game: Nicolas Van Orton is a very wealthy man who has it all, but is bored stiff. Then, all of a sudden, his world is turned upside down. Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band: Try to link melodies from The Beatles' classic album into some kind of tale line just doesn't work; patterns range from reasonable to humiliating. As to The Bee Gees performing ability, well let's just say that they are not the Beatles. Cast includes Peter Frampton, The Bee Gees, George Bums, Sandy Farina, and Steve Martin. (111 minutes,'78)

Down with Love: Spoof of the'60s Doris Day-Rock Hudson comedies has Zellweger as the writer of a most popular novel on female rights in a battle of the genders with playboy/publication author McGregor. No one inside the village dares to go outside the city. One person, Luscious Hunt, has a strong urge to see what is out there. Eventually the world outside the village is exposed, and chaos ensues.

Jackie Chan's Who Am I: Chan is part of a secret armed forces team sent on a lethal mission. He loses his memory, and can't figure out why people are after him. This is an action film with very little else to it. Cast includes Jackie Chan, Michelle Ferre, Mirai Yarnarnoto, Ron Smerczak, Ed Nelson, and Tom Pompert. (108 minutes,'98)

When that tape is accidentally mailed to his girlfriend in Austin, it's time for a road trip. He and his college buddies go'00 miles so that Josh can try to save his lifelong relationship.

Fantastic Invasion of The Planet Earth: Discharged theatrically in 3-D, this movie was pretty much a disaster. A young couple finds themselves caught in a deserted town encircled in a mammoth bubble. The original title, The Bubble, was far less deceiving: there are no foreigners and no "invasion" in fact, and not much enthusiasm, either. Cast includes Filmed in widescreen Space-Vision. Cast includes Michael Cole, Deborah Walley, and Johnny Desmond. (91 minutes,'96)

Ada: Dean Martin stars in this story of political corruption. With determination and commitment, a poor man finds his ways to riches in this politically based drama. Susan Hayward, Dean Martin, and Martin Balsam are the movies stars. (1961 drama Daniel Mann directs)
