If you are like me and my friends, we like celebrating and decorating for Halloween which is why Halloween humanities and crafts projects are especially near to our hearts. We like to come up with new and scary ideas to transform our houses into frightening haunted houses with bats, spooks, cobwebs, and magicians adorning both the inside and the outside of the house. Halloween humanities and crafts projects provide wonderful opportunities for you to interact with your youngsters and teach them a way to make something out of practically nothing. Here are a couple of our favorite projects :
If you have bushes in front of your house, you simply might become the talk about the area with this Halloween humanities and crafts project we found. Take a standard white bed sheet ( the size will rely on the dimensions of your bushes ). Fold the sheet in half and place paper between the fold. You may either use an everlasting black wizardry marker or black fabric paint to draw a ghost face on the sheet. Your spook can be frightful or funny or you may have a couple of each dependent on how many bushes you have! Then drape the sheet over the bush and secure it in the back with clothespins so that it is tight around the bush.
I really love this next Halloween humanities and crafts project because you can use these to decorate outside. You'll need a plain white lid ( such as from a margarine container, three black construction paper circles for eyes and a mouth, 2 white plastic grocery sacks or trash bags, 2 white pipe cleaners, glue, scissors, tape, black yarn, and a hole punch.
Start by gluing eyes and mouth on the front of the lid. If the lid isn't utterly white, you can paint it so that it is. If you are using grocery sacks, cut off the handles and any writing. Lay them on a level surface and use scissors to shred two in. strips up from the bottom leaving at least an one in. area intact next to the seam. Stick a pip cleaner stem into the seam. Turn the lid over. Bend and insert the pipe cleaner/seam into the ridge round the bottom 1/2 the lid and tape to secure into place. Repeat this with a second sack and pipe cleaner inserting the ridge round the higher half the lid. Punch a hold through the pinnacle of the lid and thread a length of yarn through the hole to hang. You may prefer to have a loop at the end of a foot and a half so your youngsters can hang onto them and run making it look as if they are being chased by a ghost! You may hang from trees so they blow in the breeze!
These are only a few of the Halloween arts and crafts projects my chums and I love to make. You will find plenty more fun Halloween arts and crafts on the web. Above all, when you are making Halloween arts and crafts, just be creative, inventive, and have fun!
