I will agree with anybody that says the state of the economy is no the best. I do still feel that we need to get out and enjoy our lives, however. I don't know how bad it will end up, but if we can do things, we should.
Many travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and more are slashing prices just to attract people to their destination. I say go for it. I think right now is a great time to take advantage and go somewhere. Better to do it now than worry about it and not be able to do it for a long time.
You can really get a good deal right now, and you will be mad at yourself if in the future you cant secure this deal or afford to travel. Now is the time to book and go! Even if you just take a few days away somewhere, it is better than nothing.
One thing is for sure, sitting and dwelling on the current state of the world is not going to help it. You have to live while you can. Now dont take this advice as go out blow more than you can afford because it will be all good. I am just saying if you are borderline on going or staying and you have the money go.
Things will probably be about the same upon your return so you might as well get a way for a while and relax. I would be willing to bet you will feel much better when you get back. I don't think there is anything wrong with cutting corners and finding a budget deal, I do thing that wishing you would have went though is wrong.
