The Indian Runner: Temperamental piece in reference to a youthful gentleman's efforts to comprehend, and get closer to, his bothered baby sibling who's just returned from Vietnam. The film is lazy at times, however filled with feeling and reality, and is relatively moving. Hefty acting jobs all around, with unconventional although powerful projecting of Bronson as the boys' depressed dad. Cast includes David Morse, Viggo Mortensen, Valeria Golino, Patricia Arquette, Charles Bronson, Sandy Dennis, Dennis Hopper, Benicio Del Toro, and Kenny Stabler. (125 minutes, 1991)

So Fine: Crazy comedy in reference to professor-child of a N.Y.C. clothes producer who is dragged into the business and accidentally finds success with a crazy idea for see-through slacks. Film goes off in spontaneous directions some of them surprisingly stupid-however continues to be funny most of the time. Cast includes Ryan O'Neal, Jack Warden, Mariangela Melato, Richard Kiel, Fred Gwynne, Mike Kellin, and David Rounds. (91 minutes, 1981)

A Guy Namend Joe: Excellent cast flounders in lazy fantasy in reference to WW2 guide Tracy returning to the planet to give youthful serviceman Johnson a hand in his romance with Tracy's lady friend Dunne. Cast includes Spencer Tracy, Irene Dunne, Van Johnson, Ward Bond, James Gleason, Lionel Barrymore, Barry Nelson, Esther Williams, and Don DeFore. (120 minutes, 1943)

Rhapsody in August: Average (by his estimations) little Kurosawa piece in reference to the hurtful rememberings of a Japanese woman who recollects the bombing of Nagasaki at the end of WW2. Gere, in a hyped up cameo, doesn't appear too out of place as a Japanese American member of the old lady's lengthened family. Cast includes Sachiko Murase, Richard Gere, and Narumi Kayashima. (98 minutes, 1991)

Dracula's Dog: Transylvanian vampire and bloodthirsty mutt, equipped with vampitish mannerisms by the original vampire, go to L.A to find Dracula's last living successor. Cast includes Jose Ferrer, Michael Pataki, Reggie Nalder, Jan Shutan, Libbie Pursue, and John Levin. (90 minutes, 1978)

Aguirre the Wrath of God: Commanding, spellbinding story of misled conquistador who leads a group of gentlemen away from Pizarro's 1560 South American journey looking for 7 cities of gold. Dreamlike film was shot on location in remote Amazon forests; Kinski is perfect as the crazy Aguirre. Cast includes Klaus Kinski, Ruy Guerra, Del Negro, Helena Rojo, Cecilia Rivera, and Peter Berling. (94 minutes, 1972)
