Killpoint: Boring, one dimensional action film with cop Fong and agent Roundtree on the track of gunrunners. This flims is action packed and brutally viscious. Cast includes Leo Fong, Richard Roundtree, Cameron Mitchell, Pile Perforate, and Wish Holy day. (89 minutes, 1984)
MacArthur: Intense, look at the legend of the elaborate militiary chief throughout WW2 and Korean Battle. Peck is phenomenal although film doesn't hold the punch of Patton. Cast includes Gregory Peck, Dan O'Herlihy, Ed Flanders, Sandy Kenyon, Dick O'Neill, and Craft Fleming. (130 minutes, 1977)
The Proposal: Bulky soap opera set in the 1930s gives Branagh a thankless role as a minister with more ties than one might ever envision to prosperous Boston bigwig. Cast includes Kenneth Branagh, William Hurt, Madeleine Stowe, Blythe Danner, Rohert Loggia, Neil Patrick Harris, and Josef Sommer. (110 minutes, 1998)
Great Guns: Later Laural and Hardy Army comedy is weak, not as poor as some although far underneath their classic films. Cast includes Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Sheila Ryan, Dick Nelson, and Edmund MacDonald. (74 minutes, 1941)
Black Orpheus: Street car conductor Mello and countrygirl Dawn fall in love in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival. Musical updating of the Orpheus and Eurydice fable is beautifully performed and prompted. Cast includes Breno Mello, Marpessa Dawn, Lea Garcia, Adhemar Da Silva, and Lourdes De Oliveira.
